Alaska Navajo Project
Compass' first project airplane was a Piper PA-31 Navajo for Mission Air Care.
Mission Air Care is an operation out of North Pole, AK that supports churches and church-planters in remote villages in Alaska. As you can imagine, the weather is quite cold, and Mission Air Care needed to replace their Cessna 206 with an aircraft that had de-ice capabilities, longer range, and a greater payload.
Compass was able to assist a local NC owner in a trade that was mutually beneficial, and in the process, Compass invested hundreds of man-hours and thousands of dollars to prepare this plane for it's new work in the Alaskan wilderness.
