Preparation for Technical Evaluation (TE)
Before you are accepted as a missionary pilot to MAF, JAARS, AIM, Ethnos 360, or any other mission, you will need to pass a technical evaluation also known as a "TE". These intense evaluations typically take place in high performance piston aircraft and are designed to see if you will be a good fit and have the technical knowledge and abilities to do the job.
Many pilots come to these TE's with a background as with limited high performance time or flew in the military and have limited time in single-engine piston aircraft. Also you might not be instrument current or proficient, and some TE's include evaluation of instrument flight. Our TE prep course will help bridge those gaps and give you the best chance of passing the evaluation.
Compass aviation has a Cessna Turbo 206 which was previously used as a missions aircraft by MAF in Indonesia. Our one-week TE prep course will give you training and experience in high performance aircraft and has proven invaluable to help candidates pass their TEs.
